Steve Hester

Prior to forming Arcos Communities Steve Hester was a founding partner and Executive Vice President of West Coast Housing Partners/WCH Communities and its predecessor firm Trimark Pacific Homes which was established in 1997. As one of three founding partners of those companies, he oversaw entitlement activities, sales and marketing, product development and directly handled land sales for the company’s master planned communities. He was also primarily responsible for negotiating several structured joint ventures and partnerships related to large land positions. His prior experience beginning in 1987 was with the Buie Corporation as a financial analyst handling acquisition analysis and due diligence for the company’s Orange County division. In early 1988 Steve Hester became the Project Manager for the 700-acre Rancho Niguel planned community. In 1993 he joined TriMark Development Company (a home building subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser). As Regional Manager, Vice President for the company’s Southern California Division Steve oversaw all aspects of land acquisition, project development and division performance. He holds a California General Contractor’s License, was the Past President of HomeAid Orange County and member of the Board of Directors of HomeAid America.
Steve is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and earned a Master of Science in Industrial Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University.
